Britax will be hosting a booth at the 2012 APCO Australasia Conference and Exhibition on the Gold Coast. Running from the 12-14 March 2012 the event will be the ninth annual conference, which continues a tradition of allowing members and representatives from emergency service organisations, local state and federal government and security agencies to mix and network with suppliers such as Britax who service the industry. Britax and Kustom Signals are proud to announce that our new ProLaser 4 has won an Innovation Award at the 2011 IACP Conference in Chicago. The Innovation Awards recognize new products and services introduced to the law enforcement market during the previous year. Manufacturers submit their newest and most inventive products for evaluation from a panel of independent law enforcement judges. The ProLaser 4 won in its category of Traffic Enforcement. 
Britax Automotive Equipment has relocated to our new larger purpose-built warehouse and office facility at 4 Garret Street Brendale in Queensland.

Britax is pleased to announce that its Australian head office will be moving around mid-October: from its long-term home in Northgate, to a larger purpose-built premises in Brendale Queensland. The move will drastically increase warehouse space while the office space will also be increased to improve funtionality and efficiency, plus allowing for future expansion.

The Alco-Sensor V is an advanced, handheld, microprocessor driven, breath alcohol testing instrument. The Alco-Sensor V provides a simple, economical method of determining a subject’s breath alcohol concentration with evidential grade accuracy. Additionally, the Alco-Sensor V offers the ability to perform rapid screening and passive testing of subjects or it can be utilised to perform a headspace analysis of a sample over a liquid. The instrument’s design offers great flexibility. The Alco-Sensor V can be used in a stand-alone mode, it can be interfaced with a serial printer, it can be interfaced through a docking station with multiple peripherals (i.e. keyboard and printer) or it can be interfaced directly to a computer. 
Britax will be exhibiting at the 2011 AFAC Conference at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour from Monday 29 August through to Thursday 1 September. Several staff will be on hand to answer questions, demonstrate emergency services products, and just answer any questions you may have in regards to emergency warning systems. On display will be the state-of-the-art Code 3 Defender lightbar, the Intrepid range of dash and deck mounted LED systems, and also the brand new Code 3 Z3 siren that sports features never before seen on a siren system. The team will also have many other products and information to share with you on the stand. 
The Code 3® Intrepid Series Dash LED uses state-of-the-art TriCore® technology LEDs to send a bright, clear signal. The extraordinary visibility and off-angle performance that TriCore lightheads deliver creates a signal that can be seen at far greater distances than any other current lighting technology. The new flared visor allows a much greater off-angle light signal, particularly useful when approaching intersections. The new locking swivel feature allows universal mounting to fit the curve of any windscreen.
